To Spurge or Not to Spurge? That is the Foundation Question!!! My journey with searching for affordable and perfect foundation has taken me down some dark paths BUT recently I’ve found the light!! In this post im going to share with you my journey through finding the perfect foundation for my skin type, with hopes that this helps you as well! I am an Oily skin type, but I wasn’t always a grease ball. I used to be dry skin but with age my skin has changed. But I also was never really a big fan foundation. But learning from my mistakes has taken me a long way from buying the wrong type of foundation and I’m here to guide you. Believe it or not you too can afford to have Flawless skin using Drugstore foundations. You don’t always have to spend that coin when it’s not necessary too. There are some Bomb Drug Store Foundations that I use and that are easy on the pockets and do just as good as my High-End brands. Let’s start with Drug Store Foundations for different Skin Types: Oily Skin Friendly Foundations: These are Oil-Free Foundations. Matte Foundations are our BEST FRIEND!! 1. Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation- $5.89 2. L’Oréal Infallible Pro- Matte Foundation- 3. New Covergirl Trueblend Matte Made Foundation Dry Skin Friendly Foundations: Foundation w/ Oil. You don’t want a cakey or dry face. 1. Maybelline Fit Me Dewy +Smooth Foundation 2. Milani Conceal & Perfect Foundation-$8.99 3. Covergirl Vitalist Healthy Elixir $8.19 -Target Combination Skin Friendly Foundation: 1. Maybelline Superstay Foundation-$9.99 2. Loreal Infallible Total Cover- $10.97 3. Milani Conceal & Perfect Foundation*-$8.99 All these Drug store brands are Affordable and accessible to you at your local Walmart, Target, CVS, Walgreens, Rite-Aid or Ulta. The Brands like Maybelline, New Covergirl True Blend, L’Oréal have a large shade range, that caters to every type ofskin tone and undertone. Milani, doesn’t have a large variety of shades. But if you are in the shade ranges that they provide, then it will be a great and affordable choice. I personally use Milani Conceal & Perfect, Both Maybelline Fit me foundations and I will be trying out the NEW Covergirl True Blend Foundation. But if it’s anything like the Covergirl Elixir foundation, I know I’ll fall in love. Now, drug store foundations do oxidize likesome high-end brands and some are made with SPF in mind. So, if you’re not a big fan of SPF in your foundation, make sure to read the labels to see the ingredients. And most of these foundations are capable with those who have acne prone skin. Next Time on Beautei with Tei I will discuss Primers and how they pair well with Foundations. There are primers for your skin type as well. Until, next time BeauteiFul Mommies.

I’ve been waiting for a post like this from Mom Jeans! Thanks so much! Which one is your favorite that you like to use on a consistent basis? Are all of those everyday wear foundations?

Hey there Carsyn, I am so glad that you found this post helpful. My favorite foundation Right now is the Maybelline Fit Me Matte. Since I have Oily skin, it helps keep my face from melting away. I recently go the New Covergirl True Blend Made Matte foundation. I'll be reviewing that item on my IG Pretty soon. So I'm hoping that'll be my favorite go too because the concealer is bomb!!! And yes all of these are everyday wear foundations. Even if you're going out for the night, with a good primer and setting spray you'll last all night.
