What I love about ground turkey is it is so versatile. It makes the perfect substitute for ground beef in any dish. Although there are lots of ingredients, this recipe has become a staple item on my monthly menu because it is so easy to make. I find that ground turkey needs to be seasoned heavily because it is bland which is why I created this spice blend. The spice blend can be made a couple of days before to save time. I triple the recipe and have the spice blend in a jar in my pantry. I am a firm believer in meal prepping earlier to guarantee you success during the week.
